Nevada Track Stats and Young Life have teamed up to present a weekly award
to Southern Nevada cross country athletes. The award will be,
"The Yellow Jersey". Based on the idea from the Tour de
France, The Yellow Jersey will be presented to the male and female
athlete, that in the opinion of the staff of Nevada Track Stats,
achieved the best performance of the week. The performance could
be in a weekly dual/tri meet, an in-state or out-of-state invitational
or our championship meets.
Coaches can nominate
their athlete and describing their outstanding performance. If
your athlete has already won a Yellow Jersey, they are ineligible to win
another one until the Championship Season (divisional, regional, state).
