2006 Boulder City High School Invitational Track Meet Friday, April 07, 2006 Start time 3pm
Entry Fee: $200.00 per school or $150.00 per team (boys or girls). Please return entry sheets no later than 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 05, 2006. Return entries/payment to BCHS Attn: Cherise Roe 1101 5th Street Boulder City, NV 89005. Or fax entries to 702-799-8230 attn: Cherise Roe. Questions call 799-8200 ext.4015 or 4046. Type or print neatly each contestant’s first and last name and best mark for each event entered. Each team is limited to two (2) entries per running event, two (2) entries per field event, and one (1) entry per relay. First 24 teams to return entry sheets will compete.
Scoring: 8 Places scored per event. 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 points. Relays will be scored at 1 ½ times other events, example: 15 points for 1st , 12 points for 2nd , etc.
Awards: Medals will be given to the top four finishers in each event. Outstanding Athlete - Male & Female, will be awarded to the athlete that scores the most team points. Team Trophies will be awarded to the Champion and Runner-up of each division. Division I - more than 1000 students; Division II - less than 1000 students.
Spikes/shoes: Track - 1/8 inch pyramid spikes only. Runways - 1/8 inch pyramid spikes only. Shot/Discus - concrete rings.
Warm-up Areas: Contestants are not allowed in the event area until called by track announcer. All athletes are to stay away from the finish line and on-going events, unless they are competing in the event. Violators will risk disqualification from the meet and removal from the stadium.
