SUNRISE FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE SEASON OPENER

 

MEET:                                   The meet is open to all your 9^th and 10^th grade athletes.  No entry fee.  Everyone will go home with a mark.  Participating schools will be required to run one field event and provide one timer (coaches only).

FACILITY:                             400 meter track.  Artificial surface, wear 1/8” pyramid spikes, ONLY! 

 

ORDER OF EVENTS:          Per NIAA Guidelines

 

ENTRIES:                              9^th and 10^th grade ONLY.  (Unlimited entries).  Fax or email, three (3) days in advance of meet.  Report to press box upon arrival and make changes on entry cards.

 

LANE ASSIGNMENTS:      Rotated equally

 

RULES:                                  National Federation Track & Field Rules and NIAA Guidelines.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

                                                a.   No tape on track or runways.

b.      Please help police team camp of trash.

c.       Keep athletes not competing off the field.

d.      Warm-up on practice field.

e.       Concession stand and restrooms available.
