33rd ANNUAL LAS VEGAS INVITATIONAL

CROSS COUNTRY MEET

ELIGIBILTY: Nevada High School entries must be eligible under the

rules of of the N.I.A.A. and out of state schools must be

eligible under the rules of their respective interscholastic

federation. Meet is sanctioned by the C.I.F. and the

NATIONAL FEDERATION.

DATE: Saturday, September 13, 2003

TIME: See enclosed time schedule for all races & divisions.

COURSE: The meet site is located at Basic High School.

400 North Palo Verde Drive, Henderson, Nv. A map of

the course and directions to the school are enclosed. The

course is composed of dirt, grass, and asphalt.

ENTRY FEE: An entry fee of $ 5.00 per athlete, will be charged.

AWARDS: Beautiful Las Vegas Invitational medals will be presented to

the first l/3rd of the finishers in each race. Team trophies will

be presented to the winning, runner-up , and third place teams

in each of the high school races and the winning and runner-up

teams in each age group race. A Las Vegas Invitational

T-Shirt will be presented to the individual winners and the

runner-up in each race.

EXTRAS: Las Vegas Invitational T-Shirts will be on sale for $ l4.00

each. There will be only a limited number available.

Enclosed you will find the meet information for this year’s (2003)

Las Vegas Invitational Cross Country Meet. Please read the following

information very closely. We plan to computerize the scoring for this year’s

meet and we need your co-operation in order to do this.

(A) Meet entries are due no later than Tuesday, Sept. 2nd. You may

snail mail, fax, or e-mail your entries. Its very important that

we receive your entries no later than Tuesday, Sept. 2nd. The

success of the computerized scoring system requires that we

have your entries in advance of the meet. The Sept. 2nd date

will give us ample time to enter all entries into the program.

(B) Once we receive your entries, you may update, substitute,

or add entries any time prior to Tuesday, Sept. 9^th. This

needs to be done by fax or e-mail.

(C) You need not send your entry fee check prior to the day of the

meet. Hand carry the entry fee to the meet & this will allow

you to bring the exact dollar amount based upon the number of

athletes that you will run in the meet.

(D) Feel free to call, fax, or e-mail me if you should have a question

or two concerning your entries or any other concerns that you

may have pertaining to the meet. Thank you for doing your part
